thirty-eight, thirty-nine

So far 38 is pretty bloody awesome. And before I’m thirty-nine I plan to:

  • toast the All Black’s as they hold aloft the Web Ellis Trophy
  • deliver the nastiest, most tangled programme of technology projects ever in the history of the world
  • get my full work bonus
  • finish my coaching training
  • buy only matching lingerie (as I have reached an age where the M&S six pack will no longer do)
  • spend at least part of next summer in France, tasting a shit load of Old World wine
  • cook more for the peeps I love
  • lose the last 10 kilos
  • start an ethical investment portfolio
  • wear a super-posh frock to this years crimble party
  • spend a weekend in the country with the BBC
  • skinny dip (at least once)
  • get the big tattoo
  • sell my house in welly
  • save a bucket of dosh for our future house in londontown
  • implement karaoke & champagne night to acknowledge all future project milestones
  • see the northern lights
  • engage in whisky tasting
  • see Sus more than twice
  • use the fabulous horse app way more than is healthy

I thought you always looked fantastic but now you look amazing. I want hair like yours. What do you do with it?? It looks so glossy. And please pretty please tell me what shade lipstick that is (I have the same colouring as you but cant for the life of me find the right shade).

    Happy 38!

      bless you!

my hair has taken me nearly 40 years to get to grips with – untreated it is ginger frizz :)

I use a tiny bit of moroccan light oil while its still damp – pure bloody magic stuff I tell you. Also use kerestase poo & conditioner. And drink lots of water.

the lippy is jurlique rose clear lip balm – I have yet to find a lipstick that doesn’t make me look like sallow. or slutty.

  3. Wishing you a happy 38 …
